A few weeks ago, L'il Man was invited to play in an All-Stars Soccer Tournament. So the Peanut Gallery and I headed to Georgia wo watch him "do his thang"!

That series of "one liners" before each picture was entertaining! At least I thought it was.
You may have thought it was obnoxious!
Happy Day to you! :)

"While You, Sunshine, Were Out"

I adore Sunshine's bedroom. However, she is at Mimi and Papa's house this week and I'm playing "While You Were Out" in her bedroom. She's been talking about "a big girl bedroom" for about 9 months, but I keep putting her off. She will be so surprised when she gets home. Yesterday I painted the room, today I'm sewing, tomorrow I'm re-finishing/painting some furniture. I can't wait to show you the "before and after" of her "new" dresser!

But for now, I'm saying goodbye to the sweetest "little girl bedroom" ever! I will miss the soft pink, playful toile, mint green, "little girl" feel of her bedroom!

Meanwhile, I have two full size complete bedding sets. In fact, I have a third pink coverlet. I always think it's a good idea to purchase an extra coverlet just in case your little girl gets nail polish or permanent marker on her bedding. You don't stress quite as much because you know you don't have to cross your fingers in hopes that T.J. Maxx still has that same pink coverlet that matches the rest of the fabrics and bedding in the room. But my point is....if anyone is interested in this set, let me know. It's free. Or...if anyone knows of a place - besides the typical thrift store- that would like a donation, I'd love to donate it someplace. I was thinking of a Women's and Children's Shelter. Anyone know of a place like that?

KitKat's last few days of Kindergarten

Sweet KitKat just finished Kindergarten and had THE BEST EXPERIENCE of her life there! She started the first day of school crying because she didn't want to go, and she ended the last day of school crying because she didn't want to leave. That little girl L-O-V-E-D her school, her teacher, and her friends!

Here she is with her BFF!

And she can hula-hoop like nobody's business!

(I had no idea she was giving me bunny ears!)

Happy Girl!

Thanking God today for my little KitKat!
